Marzuqah Park is a small boutique stud producing a limited number of foals, situated on 140 acres of light bush and pasture. We are located on the out skirts of Bagdad a small town approximately 50 km north of Hobart on the Southern Midlands Highway, and 190 km South of Launceston.  We are handily located only thirty minutes drive from the rapidly growing wine region around the town of Cambridge and the historic town of Richmond.  Marzuqah Park is managed by myself  Rebecca Wright my partner Jason Manser and our daughter Paige.

We commenced in 1999 with four Arabian mares, the dream from there is now what we have worked towards today.

Our goal is to preserve and produce ethereal beauty and type, a willing temperament, nobility, and athletic movement displaying a free, ground covering stride with great suspension and impulsion, beautiful and functional Arabians with natural talent to match the best in the world.  It is vital that we keep improving the standard of horses produced through each generation, to ensure our Australian bred Arabians are competitive both here and overseas.

We are dedicated to breeding the best of the best and we critically examine our own horses and study the pedigree of every horse we consider breeding,  tracing where its characteristics come from and how reliably we can expect them to be passed on.    We have a remarkable stallion, but are not blind to other stallions that can improve our mares.   Each breeding decision is approached with paramount care and  consideration as every resulting foal is of high importance to us.

Our bloodlines include mostly Egyptian and Polish with a touch of Spanish.  These lines are dominated by the amazing stallions Wanted KE, Asfour, Ruminaja Ali, Fame VF, Simeon Sanegor.  Along with the beautiful mares Euni, Dynasty Jamin, Deena.  We believe in linebreeding to reinforce characteristics.

Our Development program starts from the ground up using Natural Horsemanship skills. “I grow better babies” Rebecca says proudly. When they leave the farm they are respectful, curious, brave and playful. We continue our Natural program with our “elders” and returning youngsters, developing ourselves and our horses as we go.

Marzuqah Park is also home to Welsh Section A and B ponies.
